
Semi-Senior Accountant
Join Red Wing Aviation as a Semi-Senior Accountant.
As Semi-Senior Accountant, individual will oversee general accounting operations of Red Wing Aviation including financial transactions and reporting needs for global, local, and external entities.
This is a full-time position with hours of work typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Position is located at RWA headquarters in Bay City, WI.

Responsibilities:

Intercompany reconciliation for precise balances A/R & A/P with treasury.

Accounting analysis of the DOC’s (direct and Indirect).

Balance Sheet & Income Statement Reconciliation, Cash flow Statement preparation.

Prepare-coding, reviews and verify the accuracy of journal entries, accruals for posting.

Making recommendations relative to the accounting accrual and reserve.

Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results for different users.

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending (P2P process).

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures for data quality.

Prepare financial statements according to schedule.

Direct assist internal and external audits to ensure compliance and target budget.

Plan, assign and review deadline for month end close.

Process month-end and year-end close process and external reporting.

Implement business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls in alignment with Vista Global.

Ensure compliance and reporting with GAAP and IFRS principles.

Liaise with the Shared Services Accounting team for reporting Red Wing Aviation financial data.
Qualifications:
-
3-4 years’ experience in global business enterprise.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Proof of experiences in full accounting cycle using digital capabilities.

One SAP and QuickBooks Enterprise experience.

Understanding intercompany transaction setup.
-
Expert level in Advanced Excel and Pivot Tables.

Knowledge of US GAAP and IFR (Medium level).

Possess strong interpersonal skills

Be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner

Communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, visitors and leadership

Be able to effectively read and interpret information and skillfully gather and analyze information
